This is hybrid role, with two days in our London office every week.We’re looking for an experienced Frontend Engineer to take on a key role shaping our web products.About usSince its launch in 2018, Gener8 has been at the forefront of the “open data” movement: the belief that people should be able to control and be rewarded from their own data. Gener8’s consumer products include IOS and Android apps, a web browser and a browser extension. Our products enable people to transparently share their data with Gener8, whilst preserving their privacy, and to earn rewards in return for doing this.Today we’re operating in the UK & USA and will be launching in multiple new countries in early 2026.On the B2B side, the data products that Gener8 creates enables businesses to make faster, smarter decisions. Our customers include some of the world’s largest Big Tech companies, leading ai companies and prominent organisations in finance and ad tech.About the roleYou’ll be working on our core consumer web products across desktop and mobile, with your work at the very front of the interactions our users have with our product every day.A few of the things in our backlog that you could be working on:Creating a new onboarding flow for our desktop browser extension.Adding new data sources that allow users to earn from their data.Working on our rewards platform where users can exchange their earnings for real life rewardsOur web products use React, Next.js and plenty of good old Vanilla JS. On the backend we use Golang to serve RESTful and gRPC APIs running on Kubernetes.
