Looking for a Software Automation expert ready to take full ownership of automation in a digital acceleration project.This is an opportunity for a QA Automation Engineer to join a team in either London/Client location on a hybrid basis. The role is an opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, analytical, and passionate about technology and software quality and a key person who will be a go-to automation specialist on the project and steer the automation deliverables.You will drive best practices, introduce modern testing methodologies like TDD and BDD, and ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:Designing and implementing robust automation frameworks for mobile (using Appium + Webdriver IO) and web applications (using Playwright)Working independently to convert manual test cases into scalable, maintainable automated testsCollaborating closely with manual QA engineers, developers, and product teams to ensure seamless deliveryActing as the automation authority on your project, setting best practices, driving quality, and mentoring others where neededTaking full accountability for the automation strategy and executionRecommend improvements to enhance product quality and team productivityRequirements:Strong hands-on experience with Java, JavaScript, Python, C#/ .Net and TypeScriptFamiliarity with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar is an advantage.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Bitbucket, Azure DevOps).Proven track record of integration and end to end testing skills. Good problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.Proven expertise using Appium + Webdriver IO for mobile testing and Playwright for web automationSolid understanding and practical application BDD methodologiesFamiliarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlowExposure to performance testing tools like K6.
