SEND Learning Support Assistant - Sports Background ⚽ Do you have a background in sports?⚾ Do you want to make a difference? Have you had personal experience supporting SEND or SEMH?If so then this is the role for you!Protocol Education are looking to recruit a learning support assistant / teaching assistant to join a SEND school in Colchester.A background in sports would be highly beneficial.A desire to assist in this area is required, but no experience is necessary!You will be joining a great team that predominantly work with children who have a variety of additional needs including ASD, SEMH, MLD, SLD.A friendly yet strong and resilient approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.This is a long term, full time position so we are looking for candidates to be available 5 days a week between the hours of 8:15am - 4pm.If you have a real passion for supporting children with special needs and think this role sounds right for you then please apply now!If you want to discuss this further please contact Angharad on or All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
