Class 1 Personnel are currently recruiting 7.5 ton Driver for one of the largest mail companies based at South West England Gloucestershire GL4 3AA. As a 7.5 ton Driver, your primary responsibility will be the safe and timely collection and delivery of parcels and mail between depots, homes, and businesses. Key Duties: Perform daily vehicle safety checks Efficiently plan routes for timely deliveries Deliver and collect parcels to/from homes, businesses, and depot locations Provide excellent customer service during deliveries Accurately use and maintain your digital tachograph Ensure all collections and deliveries are completed within the shift window Candidate Requirements: Full UK Licence (7.5 Tonne) A minimum of 12 months driving experience Maximum 6 points on your licence - no DD/DR convictions 5 years of verifiable work history Willingness to undergo a UK criminal background check Strong attention to detail and a dependable, "can do" attitude Good customer-facing skills and ability to work independently Shift Patterns Available: Shifts will start at 06:00 each day Most shifts will be between 8-10 hours Pay Rates (Hourly): Days: £17.70 to £20.32 p/h About the Hiring Company: The hiring company is an established brand with more than 500 years of history, from its beginning as a postal service exclusively for the King and his Court to the international delivery service it is today.
