Collaborate across teams, apply actuarial knowledge, and support business growth in a purpose-driven environment focused on improving retirement outcomes.About the Role We're looking for a Pricing Actuary to join the DB (Defined Benefit) Pricing team. The role focuses on pricing bulk annuity deals, helping to grow the business, and supporting the delivery of great service. You'll work closely with others in the team to review and deliver new business quotes on time and accurately. What You'll Be Doing Producing and reviewing quotes for new DB pension scheme deals Managing projects and helping lead small project teams Looking for ways to improve processes, using tools and tech where possible Working closely with teams like Reinsurance and Commercial to deliver competitive pricing Sharing knowledge, supporting junior team members, and encouraging collaboration Staying curious and open to new ways of working What You'll Need Strong numeracy and analytical skills Solid understanding of DB pensions and bulk annuity pricing Knowledge of life insurance and related regulation Good Excel and programming skills (Python, Julia or VBA is a bonus) Experience in pensions, insurance, or finance is helpful Comfortable working independently and as part of a team FIA qualification (or equivalent) is desirable Nice to Have Experience working with actuarial systems or pricing tools Ability to explain complex ideas in a simple way A genuine interest in improving and streamlining how things are done
