Location: Near Basingstoke Pay: £12.21 per hour Hours: 48 per week (12-hour night shifts, 4 on / 4 off, incl. weekends)Best Time Ltd is looking for a reliable and hands-on Site Operative to join the team at our busy recycling and energy recovery site. This is a physically active role where you’ll be directly involved in the intake, handling, and processing of food waste — helping to build a greener, more sustainable future.What You’ll DoAssist with the intake, sorting, and loading of food wasteOperate and monitor machinery (full training provided)Carry out site maintenance and operational tasksKeep the site clean, tidy, and hygienicFollow all health, safety, and environmental protocolsTake part in the call-out rota and occasional remote process monitoringRequirementsA positive, safety-conscious attitudeExperience in waste, recycling, or industrial environments (preferred, not essential)Willingness to learn and get stuck inFull UK driving licence and own transport (no public transport to site)Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts (training will be on days)BenefitsFull training and ongoing supportTemp-to-perm opportunity with pay riseSupportive, team-focused work environmentChance to grow in a thriving sector Apply now with your CV!
