We are urgently seeking Safeguarding/Inclusion Officer!!We are looking for an experienced Safeguarding/Inclusion Officer to join a Secondary school in Lewisham. The candidate must have prior experience in safeguarding roles within a school setting. Would also need to be available to interview next week and free till Christmas.Role: Safeguarding/Inclusion OfficerLocation: LewishamStart Date: ASAPRate: £130 - £180 per dayEmployment Type: Supply/Full-time/Long-term Responsibilities Include: To work closely in support of all internal and external agencies that support inclusion across the school.To be proactive and creative in supporting and developing the inclusion team.To develop open lines of communication between staff, students and families.To be the school’s deputy child protection officer across the school. To be responsible for a key caseload of families.To be an active member of the Inclusion team, and as such be involved in developing, implementing and reviewing relevant aspects of the School Development Plan.A valid DBS registered on the update service.2-3 professional references covering a minimum of 2-3 years of employment history.Must be available for an immediate interview and start date.
