You will manage and support a team of dedicated night staff, promote best practice, and uphold the home’s reputation for excellence.Your key responsibilities will include: Leading and supervising the night care team to deliver safe, high-quality care Providing clinical leadership and hands-on nursing support throughout the shift Administering medication, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with CQC standards Managing emergencies, supporting residents with complex needs, and ensuring dignity and comfort overnight Communicating effectively with day teams to ensure seamless care continuity This role would suit a confident Lead Night Nurse / Night Nurse Manager who enjoys autonomy and thrives on responsibility.About You To be considered for the Lead Night Nurse / Night Nurse Manager position, you must have: A valid NMC PIN (Registered General Nurse – RGN or Registered Mental Health Nurse – RMN) Experience within elderly nursing or complex care settings Strong leadership, communication and clinical assessment skills A proactive and compassionate approach to resident wellbeing Both RGN and RMN nurses are warmly welcomed to apply.The Home & Provider This leading Portsmouth care home is part of a reputable care group renowned for its luxurious facilities, compassionate staff and high standards of nursing care.
