A supportive and inclusive school in Tower Hamlets, London is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join their team this November to support children with a range of additional learning needs.This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ lives, working within a nurturing and forward-thinking school community.About the role: As an SEN Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with additional needs. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports academic, social, and emotional development. Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure personalised learning plans are met. Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, adapting strategies to best support their individual needs. Foster independence, confidence, and engagement in learning. Person specification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience working with children with SEN in a Primary setting. Strong knowledge of strategies to support pupils with ASD, ADHD, MLD, SLD or other additional needs. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A nurturing, patient and adaptable approach to teaching. A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). Why join us?
