Job DescriptionGalson Sciences Ltd is looking for a Principal Consultant to join our team of technical experts in a multi-faceted role including technical research, project management and business development in support of our specialist services. Job description Providing consultancy services to clients on a national and international basis, you’ll deliver high-quality projects in nuclear decommissioning, radioactive waste management and disposal, environment safety cases, or site end states. Building and maintaining strong client and project team relationships is an important part of this role, as is contributing to the growth and success of the business. Key responsibilities Delivering high-quality, technical projects. This will involve producing high quality reports, working closely with the client, presenting findings to stakeholders, facilitating technical workshops / discussions, ensuring the financial and technical health of the project, and managing a small team of project staff. Providing technical support and advice to other project managers. Business development in your area of expertise and support in other areas. Project management in accordance with company standards and guidelines. Potential line management of a small number of consultants outside of project teams. Ensuring all activities in your business area are conducted in a timely and cost-effective manner.
