Class 1 & Class 2 HGV Drivers – Flexible & Ongoing Work Location: Inverness & Surrounding Areas Pay: £16.00 – £22.54 per hour (PAYE) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Full-Time, Part-Time & Ad-Hoc Options Available Driver Hire Inverness is currently recruiting HGV Drivers for ongoing work, delivering chilled and ambient products to stores within the Highland area using either cage deliveries or barrow trollies, some elements will involve hand balling. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers who are looking for full time work or those looking for flexible work patterns to suit their lifestyle. We currently have two ongoing stores available: Store 1 – Cage Deliveries: Class 1 & 2 Drivers Delivering chilled and ambient goods to stores Cage deliveries with some handballing Start times range from 00:15 – 07:00 Working independently Store 2 – Barrow Trollies (With Drivers Mate): Class 2 Drivers Delivering ambient goods using barrow trollies Working alongside a drivers mate Start time: 05:00 Includes handballing Key Responsibilities: Safe and timely delivery of goods Loading and unloading using cages or trollies Manual handling of products Completing delivery paperwork or using handheld devices Vehicle checks before and after shifts Maintaining a professional and courteous manner Requirements: Valid UK Class 1 or Class 2 (Cat C+E or Cat C) Licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Maximum of 6 penalty points (No DR, IN or TT codes) Good communication and customer service skills Flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings, days, and nights What We Offer: Competitive PAYE rates: £16.00 – £21.87 per hour Weekly pay Flexible working patterns Ongoing assignments with reputable clients Supportive local team Driver Hire Inverness is a leading recruitment agency specialising in logistics roles across the Highlands.
