SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary (Start: After October Half Term)Location: Sale / Stretford areaStart Date: After October Half TermContract: Full-time, ongoingSalary: Dependent on experience Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to join a specialist primary SEN setting in the Sale area from after October half term. About the Role You will be supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, complex learning difficulties, and communication needs. Working closely with the class teacher and other support staff, you will help create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive. Your Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with additional needs Assist with implementing individual education and behaviour plans Encourage independence and promote positive behaviour Support pupils with sensory and communication needs Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents Personal care is required About You Experience working with children with SEN (particularly within a primary setting) A calm, patient, and empathetic approach Strong communication and teamwork skills Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential What's on Offer A welcoming and supportive team environment Ongoing professional development and training opportunities The chance to make a lasting impact in a nurturing specialist school If you're passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and are available to start after the October half term, we'd love to hear from you.
