Role Name: Behaviour Mentor Location: Hove Salary: £88.92 - £95 per day (depending on experience) Contract Type: Part-Time Start Date: ImmediatelyWe are seeking a committed Behaviour Mentor to join a Hove school, providing targeted support to pupils in need of behavioural guidance and emotional support.About the School This school has a strong focus on inclusion and student wellbeing. With effective SEN provision, staff work closely with pupils to ensure everyone has the opportunity to learn, develop confidence, and reach their full potential.About the Role The Behaviour Mentor will provide one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils manage behaviour, improve engagement, and develop social and emotional skills. Your work will directly contribute to a positive school environment and help pupils thrive academically and personally.Responsibilities Provide targeted behavioural support and mentoring to pupils Assist with emotional regulation and social skills development Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to implement individual support plans Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff Promote positive behaviour and engagement throughout the school day Qualifications & Skills Experience supporting pupils with behavioural needs or SEMH requirements Knowledge of behaviour management strategies and SEN provision Strong communication and teamwork skills Patience, empathy, and adaptability to respond to individual pupil needs This role provides the opportunity to make a tangible difference in pupils’ learning and daily school experience.
