Behaviour Mentor – Luton – Full Time – Immediate StartTLTP are currently working with a Luton-based secondary school who are looking to recruit a Behaviour Mentor to support students across KS3 and KS4. This position will start immediately and run for the remainder of the academic year.*** Behaviour Mentor in Luton*** Full time role*** Supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils*** Experience with SEMH or challenging behaviour requiredAre you passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional or mental health needs in a secondary school setting?Can you build positive, trusting relationships with pupils to help them manage their behaviour and re-engage with learning?Do you have prior experience working with students who display challenging behaviour or require emotional support?If you answered yes to these questions, then this Behaviour Mentor role is for you!Behaviour Mentor:As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with pupils who have SEMH, SEBD or ASD needs, providing one-to-one and small-group support within mainstream classrooms and through targeted interventions. You’ll help students develop coping strategies, improve social skills, and stay engaged in learning. At times, you may cover lessons or lead small group activities to help pupils meet their personal and academic goals.You’ll collaborate with teachers, the SENCo, and pastoral teams to develop individual behaviour plans, monitor progress, and ensure students feel supported in a safe, structured learning environment. Experience with Team Teach or MAPA training would be beneficial.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has worked with challenging behaviour, mental health needs or excluded pupils, and who is looking to develop their career within a supportive school setting.The school:This is a large, inclusive 11–16 secondary school located in Luton, with over 1,400 students on roll.
