SEN Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £35 Per hourJob Duties:
The SEN Tutor will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs. This includes creating individualised learning plans, delivering engaging lessons, and monitoring progress closely.Required Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification - Previous experience working with SEN students - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of SEN regulations and best practisesEducation:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related fieldExperience:
Minimum of 2 years in a similar roleKnowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different learning styles - Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs - Patience and empathy when working with students - Organisational skills to track progress effectivelyPreferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Education - Additional training in specific learning difficulties - Experience using assistive technology in educationWorking Conditions:
The SEN Tutor will work in a classroom setting within a school or educational institution. The role may require flexibility in working hours to accommodate students' schedules. Close collaboration with other educators and support staff is essential to ensure the best outcomes for SEN students.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
