You will play a vital role to providing education to young people who have a variety of needs such as
Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD)Severe and Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (SLD/PMLD)Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD)Visual and Hearing Impairments (VI/HI)Physical and Multi-Sensory Impairments (PD/MSI)
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons for pupils with diverse learning profilesFoster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environmentWork collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and SENCOsMonitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordinglySupport pupils’ emotional well-being and social developmentUphold safeguarding and behaviour policies
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Experience working with SEN pupils is highly desirableMust hold a valid Child & Adult Workforce DBSStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA nurturing, patient, and flexible approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
