Sheltered Housing Support Worker Braintree Permanent Full Time: 37.5 Hours, Mon-Fri Pay Rate: £25,254.00 per year Make a real difference by supporting vulnerable individuals to live independently and thrive within their own homes and community. Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle necessary. THE ROLE As a Sheltered Housing Support Worker, you will play a key role in helping individuals maintain their tenancies, develop life skills, and build resilience to lead independent lives. Key responsibilities include:Delivering tailored housing-related support to customers across Braintree, Maldon, and Uttlesford areaSupporting customers with maintaining tenancies and accessing essential servicesProviding pre-tenancy advice and guidance to new tenantsAssisting customers in navigating welfare benefits and financial supportEncouraging independence by helping individuals build skills and confidenceLiaising with external agencies to ensure customers receive holistic supportOffering crisis intervention with professionalism and empathyTHE CANDIDATE The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar support role, ideally within housing, care, or community services.
