Job Title: Senior Business Analyst - Fund Operations (Middle / Back Office) Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)Day Rate: £450 - £475 Job Type: Six Month Contract We're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background across fund operations and middle/back office functions to support a large-scale transformation programme. The role will focus on portfolios, funds, funds of funds, and hybrid funds - covering the full life-cycle from orders and cash movements through to fund data and operational processes. Job Responsibilities/Objectives: Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements. Focus on processes across fund and portfolio operations - including orders of funds, cash movements, and fund data. Create detailed Epics, User Stories, and Gherkin-based acceptance criteria as part of an agile delivery approach. Produce high-quality documentation including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), process/workflow diagrams, and data mapping / technical documentation. Support data and process analysis, leveraging SQL for data validation and insight. Required Skills/Experience: The ideal candidate will have the following: Proven experience within Middle Office / Back Office functions, ideally within asset or investment management. Strong understanding of Transfer Agency Client Order Management Portfolio / Fund Securitisation & Static Data Cash Flows Benchmark Data / Models (Bonus) FIX Messaging experience Experience delivering in agile environments, including creation of user stories and testable acceptance criteria. Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and documentation skills. Strong technical awareness and ability to engage confidently across business and IT teams.
