We work with global partners to identify high-potential opportunities, drive sustainable growth, and deliver impactful results across multiple industries and regions.As we expand our operations in West Africa, we are seeking a proactive and business-minded Business Development & Partnership Associate to support our regional initiatives. This role focuses on developing partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting market expansion strategies across key West African markets.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regional business environments, experience in client relationship management, and a proven ability to connect corporate strategy with on-the-ground execution.Key Responsibilities:Support the development and implementation of business and partnership strategies in West Africa.Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, potential partners, and investment prospects.Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, government entities, investors, and industry organizations.Assist in the negotiation, structuring, and execution of partnership and investment agreements.Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and due diligence to inform business decisions.Collaborate with internal teams — including finance, legal, and operations — to ensure project success.Prepare business proposals, partnership presentations, and progress reports for management.Coordinate participation in regional events, forums, and exhibitions to strengthen brand presence.Monitor regional economic, political, and industry trends to identify risks and opportunities.Support the Director in managing communication and coordination between Accel Capital Partners’ headquarters and regional stakeholders.Who You Are:2–4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, or investment projects, ideally in West Africa.Strong understanding of regional markets, business practices, and cross-cultural communication.Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with public and private sector partners.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to translate market data into actionable insights.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM or project management tools is a plus.Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Portuguese is an advantage.Desired Skills:Entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset.Strong organizational and coordination abilities.Confidence in representing the company at high-level meetings and events.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams.Understanding of investment environments, trade regulations, and partnership development in West Africa.What We Offer:Competitive fixed compensation package + performance-based bonuses.Opportunity to contribute to strategic expansion projects across West Africa.Exposure to international business operations and cross-border partnership management.Collaborative, multicultural work environment with strong career development potential.Participation in regional networking events, conferences, and business missions.
