Proven experience installing, maintaining, and servicing a wide range of fire and security systemsHands-on experience with fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional) from manufacturers such as Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, Gent, and MorleyExperience installing and programming intruder alarm systems, including Orisec, Texecom, Pyronix, and Honeywell GalaxyExperience with CCTV systems (IP and analogue), including HikvisionExperience with Access Control systems such as Paxton Net2, Paxton10, ACT, Switch2, Videx, and CAME BPTCompetence with emergency lighting systems and AOV systems to EN 12101 standardsNetworking knowledge for IP-based security systems, including switches, PoE, VLAN setup, and remote connectivityExperience configuring monitoring solutions with ARC integration and signalling equipment (DualCom, Emizon, CSL, CM2 Orisec)Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills under time pressureAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications accuratelyExcellent client liaison and communication skills, delivering high-quality customer serviceAbility to work independently or as part of a teamStrong health & safety awareness, including carrying out risk assessments and method statementsA full UK driving license What will your role look like? Install, maintain, and commission fire alarm systems (addressable and conventional) from manufacturers such as Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, Gent, and MorleyInstall, maintain, and program intruder alarm systems, including Orisec, Texecom, Pyronix, and Honeywell GalaxyInstall and service CCTV systems (IP and analogue), including HikvisionInstall and configure Access Control systems such as Paxton Net2, Paxton10, ACT, Switch2, Videx, and CAME BPTWork with emergency lighting systems and AOV systems to EN 12101 standardsConfigure networking for IP-based security systems, including switches, PoE, VLAN setup, and remote connectivitySet up monitoring solutions with ARC integration and signalling equipment (DualCom, Emizon, CSL, CM2 Orisec)Perform fault finding and rectification under time pressure, read technical drawings, and follow specifications accuratelyProvide excellent customer service and client liaison, maintaining clear communication and minimal disruptionFollow health & safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements What can you expect in return?
