Why you will love this opportunity as Consultant at CivicaAs a Consultant within Civica Election Services’ Local Authority Team, you’ll play a key role in delivering complex electoral and voter registration projects for local authority clients. Acting as a trusted partner, you’ll be the dedicated point of contact for implementation and delivery, managing several concurrent projects while building strong, long-term relationships with clients.You’ll take ownership of a key technical or service area, contribute to the evolution of Civica’s offering, and help raise standards by mentoring junior colleagues. This role offers a blend of autonomy, collaboration, and variety, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and enjoys seeing their work have a tangible impact on local democracy.What you will do to be successful in this roleKey responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and deliver multiple election and registration projects for local authority clients, ensuring quality and timely outcomes.Act as the main point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships and managing issues through to resolution.Take ownership of a technical or service area, becoming a subject matter expert and driving continuous improvement.Mentor and support junior colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.Contribute to the evolution of CES’ services by identifying opportunities to enhance delivery models and client value.Liaise effectively with internal teams and consortium partners to align activities and meet key milestones.Represent Civica confidently in both virtual and in-person meetings, especially during key electoral periods.RequirementsExperience in local government election administration or similar complex, regulated environments.Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under pressure.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.High attention to detail, with a proactive and methodical approach to problem-solving and delivery.Proven ability to mentor, collaborate, and contribute to a positive team culture.Comfortable learning new systems and technologies quickly, with strong analytical and technical aptitude.Willingness to work two days per week in the London office, with flexibility during key electoral periods and occasional client travel.We Want You to Bring Your Whole Self to Work There is no such thing as the perfect candidate, so if you think you have what it takes but don't necessarily meet every single point on the list above, please still get in touch.
