Our nursery welcomes children aged from 6 months to 5 years, and we take pride in offering outstanding care and early education to give every child the best possible start in life.The RoleAs a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role within our dedicated team. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will help to create a nurturing and inspiring setting for children. Your responsibilities will include delivering age-appropriate activities, supporting mealtimes, attending to personal care needs, and fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all.Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging activities in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) frameworkObserve, monitor, and record children’s progress, celebrating achievements and developmental milestonesBuild strong, positive relationships with children and parents, ensuring open and effective communicationMaintain a safe, clean, and hygienic environment at all timesSupport children’s emotional well-being, offering comfort and encouragement when neededWork collaboratively with the team to create a stimulating and creative learning environment
Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or equivalent)Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is desirableA sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its practical applicationExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
