SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Doncaster DN3 We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school community in Doncaster (DN3 postcode). This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with special educational needs. Ideally you will have experience working with non verbal pupils, however this isn't essential. Start Date: 3rd November Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary with potential for extension About the Role: You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional challenges. Your role will involve one-to-one support, small group interventions, and helping to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents Promote independence and confidence in learning Support classroom activities and behaviour management strategies What We're Looking For: Experience working with children with SEN (in school or other settings) A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting children's development Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (desirable but not essential) Why Join Us?
