Unqualified Teacher - Secondary Schools (Kettering Area) Location: Kettering, NorthamptonshireContract Type: Full-time | Long-termSalary: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience) Are you passionate about working with young people and considering a career in teaching? Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with several supportive and inclusive secondary schools in the Corby area, who are seeking Unqualified Teachers to step into classroom-based roles across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, teaching assistants, cover supervisors, or youth workers looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing QTS or a teacher training route. The Role: Delivering pre-planned lessons across various subjects (predominantly English, Maths, Science, and Humanities) Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment Supporting pupils with varying needs and abilities Reporting back to heads of department or SLT regarding pupil progress or concerns Playing an active role in the school community What We're Looking For: Experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, coaching, tutoring, etc.) A strong academic background (degree preferred but not essential) Confident classroom presence and excellent communication skills A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a difference A flexible, professional, and proactive attitude Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide references Why Join Tradewind Recruitment?
