You’ll join a small, friendly and collaborative finance team that keeps everything running smoothly.This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, but there’s genuine potential for this role to become permanent — the organisation is growing and investing in its people, and strong performance could easily open long-term opportunities.What’s On Offer? Salary up to £30,000 (pro rata, DOE)27 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)Hybrid working – typically one day per week in the Bristol officeFlexible hours (full time 37.5 hrs or part time min. 22.5 hrs)A supportive, inclusive team that values your contributionThe chance to work in a purpose-driven organisation that’s shaping the future of healthcare finance Key Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant: Maintaining accurate ledgers and financial recordsImporting and generating sales invoicesManaging daily banking and reconciliationsProcessing purchase ledger transactions and payment runsSupporting monthly reconciliations and reportingUploading and processing expenses in Sage Line 50Providing general support to the finance team and wider organisation What You’ll Bring: At least 2 years’ experience in a finance role, or part-qualified AAT (or equivalent)Strong working knowledge of Sage Line 50Confident in Excel and Microsoft OfficeExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsA positive, flexible and collaborative mindset Bonus Points If You Also Have: An understanding of the NHS finance and governance environment Interested?If you’re a detail-driven Finance Assistant looking for your next step — and the idea of a contract with real long-term potential appeals — we’d love to hear from you.
