Job Title: Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Chesterfield Pay Rate: £90 – £120 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-timeAre you a patient, caring, and motivated individual passionate about supporting pupils to succeed in their learning?GSL Education are seeking a dedicated TA to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Chesterfield. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who enjoy helping students develop confidence, engagement, and academic skills in a supportive environment.As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils across a variety of subjects and learning needs.Help create a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment.Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to support personalised learning plans.Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, and positive social skills.Assist in monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff. Requirements for Teaching Assistant: Previous experience supporting children or young people in an educational setting.A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and under teacher guidance.An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any employment gaps.
