Job Title: Science Teacher Location: Sheffield, S4 Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-timeAre you an enthusiastic Science Teacher eager to spark curiosity and a love for discovery among your students? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join schools in the Sheffield area.As a Science Teacher, this role provides the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, helping pupils to develop scientific understanding, analytical thinking, and practical skills.Responsibilities as a Science Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages.Inspire pupils to engage with scientific concepts through practical experiments and real-world applications.Create an inclusive learning environment that supports progress for all students.Monitor attainment, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to raising achievement.Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging resources and teaching strategies.Uphold strong classroom management, behaviour, and safeguarding practices. Requirements for Science Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics is desirable.Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.A genuine passion for science and inspiring the next generation of learners.An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
