Recruit4staff are representing a leading engineering & shipbuilding company in their search for a Rigger to work in BirkenheadJob Details: Pay: £20.86 per hour (Overtime: Monday to Saturday at £31.29 (x1.5), Sundays at £41.72 (x2))Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, with a 2:30pm finish on FridayDuration: Temporary (Long-term temporary role) Job Role: As a Rigger, you’ll be responsible for preparing, installing, and operating rigging equipment to lift and move materials safely and efficiently across site operations. The role involves erecting scaffolding, panels, and steel structures, working with ropes, winches, and pulleys, and maintaining all lifting gear to high safety standards.Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications: Proven expertise in a similar role as a Rigger, Slinger, or BanksmanExperience in Marine, Nuclear, Steel Fabrication, Off-shore, Petrochemical, or Construction sectorsNVQ in Moving Loads or equivalent Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications NPORS or CCNSG Safety Passport (or equivalent) Additional Information Average working hours: 45–55 per weekBPSS checks and SC clearance required (or willingness to undergo)Half shift available between 4:30pm-6:30pm (Overtime)Saturday & Sunday Working Hours 8am-2pm (Overtime) Commutable From: Liverpool, Widnes, Runcorn, St Helens, Warrington, Birkenhead, Chester, Ellesmere Port, Deeside, Wrexham, Flint, Shotton, Broughton, MoldSimilar Job Titles: Rigger, Slinger, BanksmanFor further information about this and other positions please apply now.
