You’ll be employed by HomeCareDirect but will focus solely on supporting this client. The hours of work will be 8am to 8pm and will be on a 2-week rolling rota; week one 2 shifts, week two 3 shifts, which will work out at 30 hours per week. Flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the client. About the Client & Your ResponsibilitiesOur client is a young lady in her 20’s who has cerebral palsy, learning disabilities and epilepsy and requires 24/7 support at home and out in the community to help her live her life to the fullest. Her favourite thing to do is go to the arcades and play on the 2p machines. She also enjoys watching television, her favourite programme being the Tweenies. Training & SupportWe provide comprehensive, paid training (to CQC standards) before your start date, covering:· Full induction· Safeguarding Adults· First Aid / Food Hygiene / Health & Safety· Personal Care / Moving & Handling / Medication Administration· Autism / Challenging Behaviours· Cerebral Palsy / EpilepsyAll training must be completed prior to start date and is paid at minimum wage.
