We'd love to have a chat and see if you could be a great fit for our team. #connectingpeopleandplacesRequirementsWhat will you be responsible for?Support the Product Owner for Vix Rail and AFC products, particularly in the gates and station systems domain, by capturing and defining business and technical requirements.Work closely with customers, end-users, and internal stakeholders to understand and document requirements through interviews, workshops, focus groups, and site visits.Travel to customer locations to observe live operational environments, validate user needs, and capture real-world feedback to inform product improvements.Collaborate with development, testing, and design teams to ensure requirements are well understood, feasible, and traceable throughout the delivery lifecycle.Produce high-quality documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, and acceptance criteria.Assist the Product Owner with market research, competitor analysis, and the identification of emerging trends relevant to station systems and gate technology.Support backlog refinement and sprint planning by breaking down high-level features into detailed and testable user stories with clear acceptance criteria.Contribute to usability assessments and support the UX/UI design process by gathering user feedback and testing prototypes.What does our ideal candidate look like?Passionate about improving the passenger experience through smarter and more efficient public transport solutions.Strong background in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and process analysis, ideally within a technology or transport domain.Excellent communication skills: comfortable facilitating workshops, interviewing stakeholders, and producing concise, structured documentation.Analytical mindset: able to interpret complex systems, identify dependencies, and translate business needs into actionable requirements.Skilled collaborator: works effectively across multidisciplinary teams, building strong relationships with engineers, designers, and product managers.Experience working in Agile environments with a solid understanding of Scrum and iterative delivery processes.Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and requirements management frameworks.Commercial awareness: understands how requirements impact cost, scope, and contractual obligations.Knowledge of public transport fare collection, ticketing, or station systems is advantageous.Willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK and internationally as required.BenefitsWhat’s in it for you?Besides the opportunity to work for a global company that is customer focused and values its people.An award winning flexible working culture truly flexible working environmentAn opportunity to contribute to something that drives real positive social impactA focus on learning and developmentA fun, vibrant team to be a part ofSounds good?
