History Teacher – Secondary Location: LondonProtocol Education is supporting an ambitious secondary school to recruit an exceptional History Teacher to join their dynamic and collaborative History department. Plan, resource, and deliver outstanding History lessons that inspire and challenge pupils of all abilities
Track pupil progress, provide constructive feedback, and address misconceptions to ensure exceptional outcomes
Foster a positive, calm, and purposeful classroom environment through effective behaviour management
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessments, and departmental initiatives
Lead or contribute to enrichment activities, trips, and wider school projects to enhance the student experience
Participate in professional development, coaching, and mentoring to continually improve teaching practice
What We’re Looking For
Degree-level qualification in History or a closely related subject
Qualified to teach and work in the UK
Passion for History and a commitment to raising attainment for all pupils
Ability to deliver interactive, challenging, and inclusive lessons
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
Both NQTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply
