This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a school where pupils are highly motivated, behaviour is exemplary, and your expertise will directly impact student achievement.About the Role You will teach Maths across KS3 and KS4, helping pupils prepare for their GCSEs with the opportunity to contribute to KS5 if desired. You’ll join a department committed to high expectations, collaboration, and delivering a knowledge-rich, mastery-focused curriculum. Pupils are engaged, respectful, and eager to learn — making it an inspiring environment for teaching.Key Responsibilities
Plan, resource, and deliver outstanding Maths lessons that challenge and inspire pupils of all abilities
Provide constructive feedback and track pupil progress to ensure every student reaches their potential
Foster a positive, calm, and purposeful classroom environment through effective behaviour management
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment
Participate in enrichment activities, trips, and wider school initiatives to enhance the pupil experience
Contribute to a culture of continuous professional development, including coaching and mentoring
What We’re Looking For
Degree-level qualification (preferably in Maths or a related subject)
Qualified to teach and work in the UK
Passion for Maths and a commitment to raising attainment for all pupils
Ability to plan interactive, challenging, and inclusive lessons
Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
