Pertemps are looking for enthusiastic, reliable individuals to join our team of Postal delivery workers working for Royal Mail.Location: NORTHALLERTON 30 - 35 hours a weekPay Rate: £13.37 per hour with enhanced rates available for unsociable hoursWhat You’ll Be DoingYou will start your day at the delivery office, where you’ll load your vehicle with mail and parcels. You’ll then drive to your designated area and complete your deliveries on foot. With the help of a handheld device, you’ll track deliveries, capture customer signatures, and follow the efficient route mapped out for you.This is a physically active role that keeps you fit, focused, and connected to your community.What We’re Looking ForWe’re seeking dependable individuals who bring energy, care, and commitment to every doorstep. You will need to have the following in order to complete this job role:A full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points)Confident driving skills with an ability to drive a small vanStrong customer service and communication skillsPhysical fitness: able to lift up to 16kg and walk up to 20,000 steps dailyResilience to work in all weather conditions
