GSL Education are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant with to join a welcoming and supportive school near Lincoln. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to students, ensuring their well-being and helping them reach their full potential.Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and group support to students with additional needs.Assist with personal care, as required, ensuring dignity and respect.Help manage and support challenging behaviours in a positive and calm manner.Work closely with teaching staff to implement tailored learning plans.Encourage social and emotional development through engagement and interaction.Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour. Requirements: Previous experience as a Support Care Worker or Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.Must live near Sleaford and could ideally drive.A compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach.Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations.Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
