Job Title: SEN Teacher Location: Poole Pay Rate: £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate or January 2026 Contract Type: Full Time/Part TimeAre you a passionate and dedicated teacher committed to supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?GSL education are seeking a SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Poole. This is an excellent opportunity for an empathetic and resilient educator who strives to help every pupil reach their full potential, both academically and personally.As a SEN Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of pupils with SEN.Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment that promotes confidence, wellbeing, and academic progress.Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to develop and implement personalised learning and behaviour plans.Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage motivation, resilience, and positive behaviour.Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to support individual development.Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture that fosters respect and self-confidence. Requirements for SEN Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.Previous experience teaching pupils with SEN or additional learning needs.A patient, understanding, and adaptable approach to supporting diverse learning needs.Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.A passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners.An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
