This role is responsible for delivering upon the business’s Financial and Tax reporting obligations.Key Responsibilities of the Senior Finance Reporting Specialist: Prepare and analyse financial reports for internal and external stakeholdersPreparation of the Group Financial returnsProduction of Statutory Financial statements for 3 UK Based entitiesPreparation of corporation Tax, VAT and other tax filingsSubmission of IFRS- based regulatory returns to the FCA and BOEPreparation of quarterly FINREP return to the FCAPreparation of the BOE statistical returnsDemonstrable experience of Group / Head office reporting, Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, UK Taxation reporting, Regulatory reporting, Process improvementSupporting other financial and regulatory reporting requirements as neededOwnership of technical accounting matters and maintaining a strong governance framework over the financial reporting process to ensure processes remain robust and compliantEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standardsContribute to the development and improvement of financial reporting processesCollaborate with various departments to gather and validate financial dataPresent financial information to senior management and external auditors Required knowledge and experience for the Senior Finance Reporting Specialist role: Proven experience in financial reporting within the wealth management or banking sectorQualified Accountant (ACCA or ACA)Strong technical knowledge and practical experience of IFRSStrong understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS (IFRS 9)Experience of delivering accurate and timely financial and regulatory reportsExperience of UK Taxation is preferredExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProven experience of communicating at all levels including C suiteProficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Advanced Excel and PowerPointAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines If you're an ambitious finance professional looking to take your career to the next level as a Senior Finance Reporting Specialist, we want to hear from you.
