Senior Fine Art Warehouse Technician Location: London, SE Salary: £32,000 DOE About the Job Our client is a specialist Fine Art logistics company serving museums and galleries based in London. We are currently assisting them in appointing an experienced Senior Fine Art Warehouse Technician.As Senior Fine Art Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for handling and packing fragile, valuable and unique art pieces, as well as overseeing less-experienced colleagues, supporting and building their skills to benefit the team. Only Candidates with significant Fine Art Logistics experience will be considered.We're keen to speak to Fine Art Logistics professionals, who have substantial experience in dealing with Fine Art, Museums or Galleries. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential in this client facing role, as is a professional appearance and demeanour and being familiar with art terminology.Experienced Fine Art Warehouse Technicians will know that being physically fit and having the ability to work comfortably on ladders scaffolding or mechanized lifts is essential for this role.The company is offering a salary up to £32,000, in line with skills and experience. What you'll be doing: Handling and packing of various types of fine art and securing in truck for safe transportInstallation/de-installation of fine art and furniturePicking up and delivering a variety of artworks including paintings sculptures and high value furniture of all descriptions Inspecting artworks to determine how where when or if to touch them and how to pack for transportUnderstand how to properly wrap, load, span and tie in artworks within a truck to keep them safe and stable during transportInstalling artworks professionally in settings ranging from corporate to residential propertiesPreparing condition reports and photographs artworks as neededInteracting with art professionals and collectorsEfficiently handling paperwork including bills of lading labelling timesheets and detailed condition reports with photosCommunicating with operations team throughout the day How to Apply: * If you'd like to know more about this Senior Fine Art Warehouse Technician opportunity, or know someone suitable, please share this advert or send us their details.
