SEN Tutor
Salary:
£25 - £35 Per hourJob Duties:
Provide tailored support and guidance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).Create individualised learning plans based on students' strengths and areas for development.Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' academic progress and personal growth.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure coordinated support for students with SEN.Monitor and assess students' progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in the UK.Experience working with students with SEN in an educational setting.Knowledge of SEN strategies, interventions, and best practises.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with SEN.Knowledge and Skills:
Understanding of SEN Code of Practise and relevant legislation.Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs.Experience in assessing and reporting on students' progress.
Working Conditions:
Work primarily in a classroom setting within an educational institution. Part-Time hours with flexibility in scheduling. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
