The Best Connection are looking to recruit HGV Class 2 (LGV C) Drivers to work with their client based in Felling, Gateshead. Our client is a leading name in the general haulage and waste sector. Although the role is heavy, there is a Drivers Mate to assist with loading and unloading the vehicle. The Role: Collecting waste and electrials from local household recycling centers Collections include fridges, freezers, TV etc, so heavy lifting is involved Drivers Mate is provided to help load and unload the vehicle This is a customer-facing role, so professionalism and a friendly attitude are essential. The Candidate: Must hold a valid UK Class 2 (LGV C) driving licence. Minimum 2 years of commercial Class 2 driving experience required. No more than 6 points on license. Smart appearance with a positive, customer-focused approach. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
