About the Role: We are looking for a Curriculum Lead for our SEN unit to lead and develop a high-quality, autism-specific curriculum. This role combines teaching with middle leadership responsibilities and requires someone passionate about improving outcomes for students with SEND.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and delivery of the SEN curriculum.
Support staff through coaching and sharing best practice.
Monitor and evaluate student progress and curriculum impact.
Liaise with families, therapists, and external agencies.
Ensure curriculum meets statutory requirements and funding guidelines.
Person Specification:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience leading SEN curriculum or teaching in a specialist setting.
Strong understanding of SEND legislation, EHCPs, and post-16 provision (if applicable).
Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
