Job DescriptionPlease note - this Graduate Placement is to start in 2025 and will be a 12-24 month placement based at our HydraForce, Birmingham facility To develop technical understanding working alongside technicians, engineers and leads.To provide support to the department under the guidance of experienced EngineersSupport departments with the delivery of designated departmental projects, which will vary depending on the current business and department needsDevelop a network of contacts within the company which will enhance your understanding and effectiveness throughout the placementLiaise with personnel at parent company, to control and co-ordinate new valve builds from USAProduce and maintain relevant internal documentation to company standards, ensuring they are clear, concise and understandable for all usersDesign and develop lean manufacturing cells, through analysis of process needs to include process assembly and test equipment. Design and develop assembly and testing fixtures to meet the departmental needs, liaising with the Manufacturing Services staff when required to arrange fabricationSupport production by working closely with Team Leaders to fulfil requests for tooling and providing assistance where requiredUndertake training opportunities as they arise to enhance learning and contribute to professional development
