Youth Worker – Secondary Schools (TA Role)

You’ll be supporting students who need that extra bit of patience, understanding, and guidance — helping them stay engaged and positive in school life.What you’ll be doing:
Building trusting relationships with pupils who need extra encouragement
Supporting learning and behaviour across the classroom and beyond
Helping young people develop confidence and resilience
Working closely with teachers, mentors, and pastoral teams
What we’re looking for:
Experience working with young people (in schools, youth clubs, mentoring, or similar)
A calm, confident communicator who can build rapport quickly
Someone who can model positive behaviour and bring out the best in others

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
