*** ION Java Developer 12+months Hybrid opportunity *** On behalf of one of our key partners RED has now a new opportunity for a ION Java Developer to join a new project. The contract is for 12 months with extension. This role is to start January 2026 and will be Hybrid 3 days/week on-site in London rest remote Specific skills/experience required: 10 years experience with Java Developer Strong knowledge of low-latency, multi-threaded programming techniques Experience with trading platforms (e.g., Bloom-berg, Trade-web) Understanding of financial markets, particularly Rates and Credit bonds/derivatives Outstanding experience and knowledge with ION platform Expertise in object-oriented design patterns and SOLID principles Experience with functional programming concepts.
