We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner – Adult Social Care (ASC) to join our public sector client on an initial 5-month contract, paying up to £553 per day Inside IR35.This role offers hybrid working, with flexibility to attend the office as required.You’ll be joining the Finance Directorate, working within the Operational Finance / ASC team and reporting to the Head of Finance. You’ll provide high-quality financial direction, support, and guidance across Adult Social Care, ensuring effective management of budgets and sound financial planning.The successful Finance Business Partner will:• Support the Adult Social Care business with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and identifying savings opportunities.• Oversee financial performance against a net budget of £130 million, including £90 million in ASC placements and a £20 million Public Health Grant.• Translate complex financial information for non-financial stakeholders and influence senior managers to drive accountability.• Provide robust financial challenge to ensure effective decision-making and value for money.• Assist in the development of long-term strategic financial plans aligned with the Council’s medium-term financial forecasts.• Lead and coordinate a small finance team (up to three direct reports).Interested?Please apply below.Finance Business Partner, Adult Social Care, ASC, Local Authority, Public Sector, IR35, Hybrid, Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Planning, Management Accounting, Public Health.
