Data Mapping Specialist to join a Global Organisation as part of their Strategic Data Programme, supporting enterprise architecture and data governance initiatives. This is a hands-on data design and mapping role, not a developer position. The specialist will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to:- Develop and maintain source-to-target data mappings for system migrations and builds.- Design and document data structures, data dictionaries, and ERDsCollaborate with BAs, architects, and technical teams to ensure accurate data flow and integration- Support data lineage, traceability, and governance compliance across systems.- Contribute to the Enterprise Architecture Repository, maintaining data artefact consistencyRequired Skills:- Proven experience in data mapping, modelling, and design within complex data landscapes- Strong understanding of data architecture principles (relational & hierarchical)- Ability to create and interpret ERDs, data flow diagrams, and mapping documents- Experience with metadata management and data governance frameworks- Skilled in Enterprise Architecture tools (e.g. Ardoq, Sparx EA, or similar)- Excellent analytical and documentation skillsDesirable:- Knowledge of application integration and impact analysis within enterprise environments- Familiarity with version control and audit processes for data artefacts
