We are proud to be partnering with a committed resident managed housing organisations, who are looking to appoint a TMO Manager on a permanent basis.This will be a full-time office-based position in Hackney, with opportunities to improve the lives and living situations of residents and a salary of £50,000 to £55,000 per annum.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building successful working relationships with the resident board members to deliver excellent customer service and provide leadership to the existing workforce to maintain the highest possible standards.Duties will include (but are not limited to): Ensuring that the TMO fulfils its management agreement with the councilCarrying overall responsibility for all the services the TMO administersManaging, supporting and supervising all the TMO staffReviewing and updating policies and procedures where necessaryPrioritising repairs and ensuring that all works are carried out in a timely mannerMonitoring tenants’ rent accounts and ensuring payment plans are in place for arrearsAttending board resident meetings as necessary Experience required: Previous experience managing staffFinancial management and budgetingExperience developing successful relationships with stakeholdersExperience in positions of leadership Skills, knowledge and expertise required: Risk assessment and managementIn-depth knowledge of housing legislationCompliance and due diligence Working hours: 35 hours per weekAttendance at evening or weekend meetings may be required from time to time, for which time off in lieu will be givenMonday – Friday, 9am-5pm Please note that you require recent experience to apply for this role.James Andrews is acting as an employment agency and business in relation to this role.At James Andrews Recruitment Solutions we try to respond to all applications personally, however, due to the high volume of applications this is not always possible.
