We're delighted to be working with a leading independent insurance broker based in Alcester, who are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join their growing team.This is an excellent opportunity to work with one of the region's most respected brokers - a business that combines the scale and resources of a national firm with the culture, flexibility, and personal touch of an independent.The Role:As a Commercial Account Handler, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients across a broad range of industries. You'll provide technical support to Account Executives, handle renewals, and ensure all clients receive an exceptional level of service.Key Responsibilities: Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments, and client queries efficientlyPreparing and issuing accurate documentation and reportsNegotiating with insurers to secure competitive terms and bespoke coverageSupporting Account Executives with client meetings and new business activityMaintaining compliance and accurate client records in line with FCA standardsBuilding strong, long-term relationships with clients and underwriters About You: Experience in a commercial insurance handling role within a broker environmentGood technical knowledge of core commercial products including property, liability, motor fleet, and combined coversExcellent communication and client management skillsStrong attention to detail with a proactive, organised approachExperience using Acturis or similar broking platformsCert CII qualified or working towards (support provided) What's on Offer: Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 depending on experienceHybrid working options following probation25 days holiday plus bank holidaysPension scheme and company benefits packageSupport for professional development and CII qualificationsModern, friendly office environment in AlcesterGenuine career progression opportunities within a growing independent business This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking to take the next step in their career with a respected, people-focused independent broker that continues to expand.Apply today or contact us for a confidential chat about the role.
