As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and passionate team. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping students with a range of additional needs — including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health challenges (SEMH) — to thrive in their learning.You’ll work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to deliver personalised support both in the classroom and through small group or one-to-one sessions. Every day will be different, but every day you’ll make a real difference. Key Responsibilities Provide tailored support to students with SEN to ensure they can access and enjoy the curriculum Assist in the delivery and implementation of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) Adapt materials and learning resources to meet individual needs Encourage independence, self-confidence, and inclusion across all aspects of school life Monitor progress, celebrate achievements, and share insights with the SENCO and wider team Support with personal care if required About You You’ll be someone who genuinely enjoys working with young people and has a passion for helping every learner succeed.We’d love to hear from you if you have: Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (in a school or other setting) A calm, patient, and empathetic approach Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed A flexible, positive attitude and a good sense of humour A relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) – desirable but not essential What We Offer A welcoming and inclusive school community Competitive daily rate (PAYE – no hidden deductions) A supportive and friendly staff team Ongoing professional development and training opportunities The chance to make a genuine, lasting difference in the lives of young people How to Apply If this sounds like the perfect next step for you, we’d love to hear from you!
