Yard Operative / Maintenance AssistantBrixworth, NorthamptonshireMonday to Friday - 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMSalary - £27,500 ACS Staffing Solutions are looking for a reliable and proactive person to join our client's team as a Yard Operative / General Site Assistant in Brixworth. This is a hands-on, varied role supporting the day-to-day operations of the site, including machinery handling, site maintenance, and logistics support. Key Responsibilities:Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the yard and wider site areasLoad and unload machinery from lorries and trailers safelyClean and paint machinery to a high standardAccurately complete administration for all inbound and outbound deliveriesAssist engineers with tasks and general supportCarry out basic building maintenance as requiredRefuel and defuel machinery in line with safety proceduresDeliver and collect machinery parts and items locallyReport hazards, near misses, and incidents in accordance with company policyAdhere to all health and safety regulations and company proceduresPerform any other reasonable duties as requested by the manager Requirements:Full clean UK driving licence (Essential)Forklift Truck (FLT) licence (Counterbalance)Good communication and teamwork skillsStrong attention to detail, particularly with documentationReliable, punctual and willing to work in all weather conditions This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly and hardworking team with a company that values safety, quality, and teamwork.
