Proven experience managing or supervising a team in a warehouse or logistics environmentStrong knowledge of warehousing, distribution, and supply chain processesExcellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop team membersProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsKnowledge of Health & Safety regulations and safe working practicesHighly organised, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing prioritiesResilient, pragmatic, and capable of working under pressure to meet deadlinesStrong leadership presence — credible, approachable, and able to lead by example What will your role look like? Manage, motivate, and lead Warehouse Team Members to achieve high performance levelsMonitor and ensure compliance with all health and safety requirementsConduct MHE checks, report faults, and ensure all incidents are investigated promptlyOrganise and confirm daily labour in consultation with the Warehouse ManagerMonitor attendance, timekeeping, and performance of all team membersMaintain depot hygiene and ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environmentReport operational issues and recommend improvements to the Warehouse ManagerControl and maintain the WMS system, ensuring accurate stock and order dataOversee order picking accuracy and achieve daily KPIs, including Orders per FTE and Picking ErrorsSupport recruitment, onboarding, and training of warehouse team membersLiaise with internal teams, including transport, purchasing, and customer serviceEnsure IT equipment and materials are properly issued, maintained, and logged What can you expect in return? 28 days annual leave, inc. statutoryOpportunity to develop within a growing logistics operationSupportive and team-focused work environment What’s next?
